Groupe PSA invited me along recently to capture the experience that representatives from companies requiring fleets of vehicles receive. There were a host of large scale companies in the room including The Royal Mail and The Police.
Strata were also brought in to help with the occasion and were great on the day organising, arranging and ensuring tasks were completed out of the normal remit of Groupe PSA. The majority of my day was spent photographing electric cars - cars of the future, now. The launch of a new line hosting both fully electric and intelligent hybrid motors means this we are definitely looking into a more environmentally friendly future alongside the companies present on the day. All in all, saving the planet - David Attenborough would be proud.
Zero emissions and all electric cars must be the only options available by 2035, with the government making the sale of petrol and diesel fuel engines illegal. But why wait until then to act and change to make a positive difference?
I was lucky enough to be taken out in a new Peugeot 508 SW in my visit and I must say It is a fine motor, quiet, comfortable and in grey, handsome.
*I couldn’t help photographing the head office whilst on location, you must admit, it is fairly impressive.
